We offer a full and complete synth restoration service for vintage synthesizers. From recapping synths, to replacing damaged woodwork, we offer a complete service to overhaul your synthesizers and make them as close to new as possible. Here we go above and beyond just a standard repair, we aim to bring it as close as we can as it was out of the factory. The only thing we don't do is respray and replace decals. We focus on the electronics and joinery side of things, we leave detailing to the professionals in their field. Joinery and electronics is enough knowledge for one man!

Some of the juno 6 restorations I have done focussed on reconditioning power supplies, replacing controls and fully recapping synth boards and full strip down and keybed restoration. I also replaced the wood work on the synth cheeks and under the keybed as it was badly damaged. The horrible chipboard was changed for glorious Brazillian Mahogany. As you can see from the pics it looks stunning again and sounds even better!

The jupiter 6 restoration I did involved fully recapping the synth, repairing damaged traces on the motherboard, solving CMOS memory problems, hanging oscillators and real time corrosion of the panel boards. Not only that the reset line on the CPU, faulty multiplexing of controls, leaking battery damage, CPU upgrade, this one really had all the faults going and it was a real slog but totally worth the effort to hear THAT sound!

I also did a full Allen & Heath Restoration on a MOD III mixer which involved a full recap, replacement of controls and all transistors. It was completely ruined when I got it and I rebuilt this in to a modern production console. Everything was ruined on this, it even had mold on it from being stored in damp conditions! In fact I have fully restored Rolands, Korgs, Yamahas, ARPs and many others in the past.
